11/14/2018 Skills Day:
Wednesday, November 14th at Lake Gregory Education / Community Center (24740 San Moritz Way in Crestline).
Skills day is a chance for the Youth Basketball program to see where all the kids are level wise. The Park District has asked a small group of coaches to run drills and evaluate the kids on a 5 star scale, 5 stars being the highest rating and 1 star being the lowest rating. The Park District's goal is to create even teams and will be using the information gathered on skills day to place the kids appropriately.
The timeline of events on Skills Day are as follows:
5:30-6pm - Check in and number assignments for the Girls Divisions
6-6:45pm - Girls 3-5th Grade and Girls 6-8th grade take the court for drills and evaluations
6-6:30pm - Check in and number assignments for Boys Divisions
6:45-7:30pm - Boys 3-4th grade, 5-6th grade and 6-8th grade take the court for drills and evaluations
Please make sure kids wear comfortable athletic clothes and footwear. Each child will be given a number to pin on their shirts to help the panel make proper evaluations. If you have any questions regarding skills day, please feel free to contact Jessica Pratt or Casey at the District Office, (909) 337-7275.
